I've got the list made up at last. Most of the books have hardback covers.

The Draughts World as you probably know was the best magazine ever on the game of draughts. That was the opinion from the both sides of the Atlantic. Full of up to date play at the time. These magazines were full of satirical remarks and ancedotes, especially when the yank's so Wylie for the first time.

1. The Draughts World - 6 volumes dated: 1892-1895; 1892-1902; 1898-1900; 1900-1902; 1903-1905; 1905-1907

   All have been rebound, clean very good condition. (price - £240.00 )

   I have another 6 volume which needs rebound, I'll include with the others free.

I have three very rare books:

1. Scottish Draught Player by John Drummond 1853 and the rare James Sinclair, two volumes in one,

  good clean book for its age, signs of wear on cover, bindings very sound and tight - £850.00

2. John Drummond , 1st edition 1838 containing 700 select games, clean book inside, two or three

  small scribblings in margin, signs of wear on cover but still very sound - £520.00

3. John Drummond, 2nd edition 1851 containing 700 select games with the depiction of Drummond,

  a little ink stain on preface, some yellowing in pages, slight damage bottom on spine and some wear on the boards, slight foxing not as clean as the other two Drummonds, but still very collectable - £250.00
